The measurement of tension
The measurement of tension (or availability of water in the soil) is a universal technique, allowing control of (almost) any irrigation system, on any soil, any crop, any climate.
Resumption of transplanted trees
Tensiometry allows, installing sensors in and outside the transplanted mound:
- Monitoring the recovery and rooting of transplanted trees
- Piloting urban watering
Load-bearing and stability of soils
Tensiometry is used in Geotechnical engineering to monitor the soil bearing capacity, the slope stability and the movement of the basements.
